My old house keys are stamped Do Not Duplicate and the hardware store will not copy them. Can you?
That stamp alone does not stop a copy, but a restricted key system does. Send us a photo of the key. If it is a common keyway we can usually make spares on site. If it is a restricted system, you may need the owner of that system or a rekey to a new one.
My detached workshop only has a padlock. Can you put a proper lock on the door?
Yes. If the door is solid and the frame is sound, we can fit a deadbolt or a keyed lever, and key it to match the house if you like. If the door itself is weak, we will tell you so before we start, along with the price.
We live up past the end of the main road toward Big Tujunga. Will you come that far?
