Agoura Hills is a fair drive from the Valley, so we try to do the whole job in one trip. Tell us everything that needs work when you text, and we load the truck for it.
Agoura Hills stretches along the 101 under Ladyface Mountain, from Liberty Canyon on the east to the Westlake line. Agoura Road and Canwood Street carry office parks, medical suites and small businesses. Kanan Road is the main north-south street, with shopping centers at the freeway. North of the 101 you find 1970s and 1980s neighborhoods with HOAs and greenbelts. South, in Old Agoura, the lots get big, the streets get narrow, and horses are common. Parts of town burned in 2018 and have since been rebuilt, so new construction sits next to houses that have not changed since they were built.
Rebuilt and remodeled homes often had several contractors with keys, and the locks were installed for convenience during the work. Once you move back in, a rekey is the first thing worth doing. Older houses here have builder knob sets and deadbolts that still work but have never been rekeyed. In Old Agoura, gates and outbuildings bring padlocks and gate latches that take a beating from weather. The office parks on Agoura Road use commercial levers and steel doors. We bring parts for all of it, so a lock that is worn out can be replaced the same visit.
We are about 18 miles from Agoura Hills, so expect 35–60 minutes, more if the 101 is backed up through the Valley. Text (657) 478-8248 with your ZIP (91301), a photo of each lock you need done, and how many doors there are. We confirm the price and an honest ETA first.
At least rekey them. During construction, keys get handed to framers, painters, inspectors and cleaners, and nobody collects them all. A rekey makes every old key useless and you keep the new hardware. We key all outside doors alike in one visit.
Yes. Send a photo of the gate and the current lock so we bring the right hardware. Outdoor gate locks fail from sun and dust more than anything, so we fit ones built for outside and can key them to your house.
Yes, for most makes we cut and program a new key right at the car. Text the year, make, model and VIN (it is on the dashboard by the windshield) along with a map pin, since some trailhead lots have weak signal.
