Older maps call this area Sepulveda, and the big VA medical center on Plummer Street still carries that name. The 405 cuts right through, with Sepulveda Boulevard, Roscoe and Nordhoff carrying most of the traffic. My deadbolt only locks if I lean on the door. Is the lock broken?
Probably not. When a door settles or swells, the bolt rubs on the strike and will not slide all the way in. We usually fix that by adjusting or reshaping the strike, which is quicker than replacing the lock. If the lock itself is worn, we show you and give you a price first.
